Northumberland Treats is an emerging business based in the heart of Northumberland. They have created products that allows you to make delicious bakes that are made from good wholesome ingredients, quickly and easily!


Self raising flour: (WHEAT flour, raising agents (E450i; E500ii), Golden caster sugar; natural unrefined cane sugar,Corn flour: corn flour, White sugar; (granulated sugar), Glimmer Pearls: sugar, dextrose, glucose syrup, WHEAT flour, WHEAT starch, maize starch, colours, E101, E120, E133, E171, E174, Carrier, E555, Stabalisers, arabic gum, agar, glucose syrup, glazing against, shellac.

Allergy Advice:

For allergens see ingredients in bold. Products packaged in a kitchen that handles nuts. (Including peanuts), soya, seeds, cereal and products containing gluten.

Important: young children less than 4 years have limited chewing ability and could choke on small sweets.

Louise, founder of Northumbrian Treats, is passionate about good food, good times and the environment. She wanted to create a food brand that would combine all of this. The ingredients for their Bake off Bottles are, in as far as possible, sourced locally, and glass bottles are made from recycled glass and staff are from the local community.

With our Bake Off Bottles, baking is simple, fun and delicious!

Northumbrian Treats makes baking delicious treats easy and fun. They have prepared the perfect recipes for you. All you need to do is buy the bottle and follow the simple instructions.


What you need:  2 x 12 hole muffin tin, 275g softened butter, 5 medium eggs, 1½ tsp vanilla essence, 11/2 tsp baking powder

Preheat the oven to: Conventional – 170, Fan – 150, Gas -3

Line 2 x 12 hole muffin tin with muffin cases

Pour contents of the bottle in a bowl and baking powder and mix well

In another bowl, whisk the butter until it becomes lighter in colour

In a separate bowl, whisk eggs and vanilla essence and add to butter

Gradually pour liquid mixture into the dry mixture stirring well to form a smooth batter

Divide mixture between cupcake cases

Bake for 20 – 25 mins and leave to cool for 5 mins
